Amy Burns

Amy Burns was born and raised in Harbor Springs, and still resides there with her family. She received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from North Central Michigan College in 2008. Amy worked at McLaren Northern Michigan for over 8 years on the medical surgical floor, specializing in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and urology. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner emphasis from Michigan State University in 2017. She then worked at Quick Care and Urgent Care in Petoskey before joining Petoskey Surgeons in November of 2020. She works with Dr. Hollenbeck seeing general surgery and bariatric patients.

When not at work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys going to the beach, camping, and reading. She has 3 children that keep her busy as well.
