Kevin M. Markham, M.D., F.A.C.S., R.P.V.I.
Dr. Markham graduated from Wayne State University Medical School in 1995. After earning his Medical Degree, he completed a six-year residency in General Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, finishing residency as the Chief Surgical Resident in 2001.
Dr. Markham began practice with Petoskey Surgeons, P.C., as an attending surgeon at MNMH in July 2001. He is board certified and is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He also holds certification as a registered physician vascular interpretation (RPVI).
Dr. Markham is a member of:

- Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons
- Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract
- Sustaining member of Phi Beta Kappa
He serves on several committees at MNMH, including:
- Keystone Surgery, Champion
- Cancer Liason Physician to the Commission on Cancer
- Cancer Committee
Dr. Markham is also the hospital’s Surgeon Champion in the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program and is also the preceptor for CMU Physician Assistant students for their Surgery rotation. He enjoys all aspects of general surgery, but his professional interests include surgery of the carotid artery, varicose vein treatment, laparoscopic surgery, and cancer surgery, especially breast and colon surgery.
Dr. Markham resides locally and is married with two children. His interests outside of medicine include ice hockey, snowboarding, wakeboarding/wakesurfing, and boating.
