This innovative approach helps reduce patient wait times, increases patient comfort, and allows you to return home quickly.
Vascular Central is the future of vascular health care and provides a higher level of service and care. Our board-certified physicians are vascular disease specialists with experience and training in the following:
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)
A common condition that develops when the arteries in the leg become narrowed or blocked, causing poor circulation and later a hardening of the arteries. PAD can easily be diagnosed with a careful review of history, a physical exam, and non-invasive tests which are performed on site (ultrasound). Treatment includes a range of methods from conservative to minimally invasive balloon angioplasty and stenting to open bypass procedures.
Aortic Diseases
A number of life-threatening diseases are associated with the aorta, including aortic dissections, aneurysms, and occlusions. Our physicians are highly trained and experienced in treating both simple and complex aortic diseases using the most advanced medical technology available and the latest minimally invasive techniques.
Carotid Artery Disease (CAD)
This refers to the formation of plaque and the resulting narrowing of the arteries that carry blood from the heart to the brain. If a portion of the plaque buildup should break free, it can travel to the brain and cause a stroke, a mini stroke, or temporary loss of vision. This condition can be diagnosed using our in-house non-invasive ultrasound technology. Once diagnosed, the problem can be treated according to the patient’s needs, with medication to carotid stenting or carotid endarterectomy where the plaque is surgically removed.
Varicose Veins and Venous Disease
These are not only a cosmetic concern, but can be serious medical conditions that lead to significant disability. These conditions can be diagnosed using our in-house non-invasive ultrasound imaging. In the past decade, minimally invasive procedures involving no incision have been developed to treat these conditions, including: Sclerotherapy, Laser Ablation, Radiofrequency Closure (RFA).
