Andrea Parsons, DO

Dr. Andrea Parsons attended The College of Saint Benedict for undergraduate studies. She attended Rocky Vista University for Medical School, where she did advanced studies in Rural and Wilderness medicine. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where she was Chief Surgical Resident during her 5th year. She completed her Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at McLaren Flint MSU in Flint, Michigan. Her particular interests include Bariatric surgery, antireflux procedures, colon and hernia surgery, and advanced laparoscopic procedures.

Andrea is originally from Minnesota. The vast array of outdoor activities drew her to the Petoskey area. When not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.
